Astral YTV 2.0 Review

In the spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to test the Astral YTV 2.0 PFD and really liked it! There were a lot of great features which I go more in depth on in my full review on Outdoor Prolink's Blog. The first day I tested it, I pulled up to a local lake in Curt Gowdy, and right when we inflated our boards, it started snowing. We decided to pursue with our paddle in hopes of the storm letting up soon. This was not the case, and I can confirm that the Astral YTV 2.0 is pretty warm! The little lake had white capped waves forming, and the snow was flickering between snow and hail, so we eventually gave up on paddling for the day. However, throughout the past couple of months, I can confidently say that the Astral YTV 2.0 has been a go-to piece of gear for my days on the water, particularly when guiding paddling trips.
