GSI Outdoors Cookware Set Review
I brought the GSI Glacier Canister-Top Stove , a few of the GSI Tekk Tandem Sporks , as well as the GSI Escape Cups and Bowls on a few local trips this spring. It was very windy for the majority of testing, so we had to be very careful with the stove due to fire danger; however, we did find that it was very easy to keep it going through a quick rain storm! I went on a few climbing trips around Wyoming with some friends, where we collectively tested this grouping of cookware

Beal Sunrise 9.2MM Unicore Dry Cover Review
This summer, I got out with some friends and tested the Beal Sunrise 9.2 mm Unicore Dry Cover across my usual Wyoming haunts—sport crags, dusty approaches, and longer alpine days—and was surprised by how light, smooth, and confidence-inspiring it felt. Even on full days of belaying, it fed cleanly, caught falls softly, and never shredded my hands. Despite the pale color and gritty rock, it’s held up incredibly well and still looks nearly new. I also love that it’s made from 1

Inov-8 RACEPAC 8 Review
Last fall I had the opportunity to test the Inov-8 RACEPAC 8 running vest. I took it on a variety of runs, hikes, and roller ski adventures, testing its versatile features in multiple settings. This pack has the ability to hold everything you might need in a day and more, including ample storage for 3L of water! Zipped pockets with bungee attachments for keys and a safety whistle allow you to leave your worries at the trailhead. Check out my full review on the Outdoor Prolin

ENO Parklite Hammock Chair Stand Review
I was not quite sure what to expect when I received the ENO Parklite Hammock Chair Stand. I have had ENO hammocks before and have loved them. In college they would withstand the Maine winters being tired up on the trees outside the dorms. I can attest that their durability is as good as every and I am a big fan of their recent colorways. As for the hammock chair, I honestly have been really enjoying this product. I am one of the head alpine ski coaches at Snowy Range and have

Astral YTV 2.0 Review
In the spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to test the Astral YTV 2.0 PFD and really liked it! There were a lot of great features which I go more in depth on in my full review on Outdoor Prolink's Blog. The first day I tested it, I pulled up to a local lake in Curt Gowdy, and right when we inflated our boards, it started snowing. We decided to pursue with our paddle in hopes of the storm letting up soon. This was not the case, and I can confirm that the Astral YTV 2.0 is p

Edelrid Sendero Harness Review
In the summer of 2024, I spent a ton of time testing the new Edelrid Sendero Harness. As a competition climber, guide, and setter I am always looking for different climbing gear, particularly harnesses, to help me send harder and maximize comfort while working, thus when Edelrid needed a review, I jumped at the opportunity since I had never tried their harnesses before. My current go-to harness is the session harness from Wild Country, which I do really like, but I find the

Brooks Running Women’s Cascadia 18 Trail Runner
With a little dusting off these shoes look brand new even though I put around 150 miles on them already. The tread is nice and grippy and seems like it will be able to last a long time. The overall quality of the shoe is excellent and feels very durable in all conditions. The updated mesh features with overlays in high-wear areas are definitely worth it. I accidentally stepped into a lake and the breathable mesh allowed the shoe to dry quickly. Pros: The fit, the look, and t
